WPO plays weddings, block parties, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, fundraisers and more...

We bring the ecstatic energy of WPO's dance parties to every celebration we play. In fact, many of the songs we play ARE traditional Jewish and Balkan wedding songs - that's why our music is so joyous. We also play "Top 40" wedding classics if requested, including some deeper cuts with a Philly connection ("Punk Rock Girl" anyone?), and we take requests. We've marched through the streets like a Brazilian carnival bloco, led circle dances in fields under the moonlight, and danced folks 'to the end of love' by rivers. We also play New Orleans brass funk, and can make your cocktail hours whimsical, sophisticated, rootsy or whatever by shifting into Prohibition Era swing, bossa nova, choro, or cool jazz. We have a blast expressing the full range of our talents, moving from acoustic folk to club bangers.
